How does Autel APB112 Work?
 

Please Note:

• The APB112 Smart Key Simulator needs to be used together with the Autel Diagnostic Device;
• Do Not disconnect the USB Cable when in use;
• If you try to use the Autel G-box with IM508, you need to have the XP400. Otherwise the Autel G-Box can not work with IM508;
• Before operating or maintaining on this unit, please read the instruction carefully, pay extra attention to safety warnings and precautions.

How to connect APB112 key simulator?

1. Connect the APB112 smart key simulator to Autel Diagnostic Device with the supplied USD cable;
2. Complete the connection, status indicator lights solid blue, indicating that the APB112 smart key simulator is working properly. Then it will communicate with the diagnostic device automatically.
3. According to the selected vehicle system function, the APB112 smart key simulator application is automatically upgraded on the Autel diagnostic device;
4. In order to decode the chip, please place the smart key simulator close to the ignition coil for data collection. After decoding, the original car chip data can be copied;
5. The emulator key chip can generate various types of key chips by performing subsequent upgrades as needed.

The Autel G-BOX2 accesorry tool is an adapter which is compatible with Autel's IM508 + XP400 programmer and IM608 key programming tablets to aid in programming keys for Mercedes DAS3 CAN EIS/EXS in an AKL(ALL-Keys-Lost) situation.
 
The G-Box2 also supports DME/DDE ISN reading and writing in Boot mode on some BMW vehicles that are applicable. It can be used in Boot mode or Bench method.

Troubles and Troubleshooting:
 
When all the keys of the Mercedes-Benz vehicle are lost, you can operate via the OBD.
Note: This method is suitable for Mercedes-Benz W204, W207, W216 and W164 EISs after the year 2009.
 
Connection:
 
1. Connect the G-Box2 to the vehicle' s OBDII
2. Remove the fuse of vehicle EIS, connect the Relay ports to the fuse using the supplied fuse cable
3. When the vehicle has an ELV, connect the K7 port and ELV plug using the supplied K-line cable
4. Connect the G-Box2 to the Autel Diagnostic Tablet (MaxiIM IM608, IM508)

How to do in Bench method when all keys of Mercedes-Benz vehicle are lost?
 
Note: This Method is suitable for all Mercedes-Benz EISs that are already supported by Autel diagnostic tablets.
 
Connection:
 
1. Plug the G-Box2 to the Mercedes-Benz EIS using the packed DB15 Cable
2. Plug to the DC port of G-Box2 using a power adapter (DV 12V)
3. Plug the G-Box2 to the Autel diagnostic tablet (MaxiIM IM608, IM508)
